A teenager inadvertently thwarts a terrorist plot, resulting in a band of planetary loyalists, terrorists and wide-eyed civilians being flung further into space than anyone has been before.
This is my priority at the moment. Envisaged as the first book in a series of three, backed up by storyboards and detailed notes for each.

Planet Barmpot

A comedy science-fiction adventure, starring a misanthropic inventor and his unlikely poetic sidekick. They come face-to-face with privilege, power, and just how bad things can get when people stop asking questions.
​
Written in collaboration with aspiring cosmic horror author P. A. Harvison. Started as a fun exercise, it was then drafted as a complete series of radio scripts, and is now being developed as a novel. Did I mention there’s a sentient bush?

Second Life

A fleet of military, academic and refugee ships finds itself in extremely unfamiliar territory after it’s attacked at the height of planet-wide war. A story of survival and colonisation from multiple perspectives.
​
Told through accounts of individuals in the fleet and those indigenous to this undeveloped land, Second Chance could work as a novel or an extensive series of short stories.
Other priorities mean this project is on the back burner for now, but the temptation to dip in or daydream about it is relentless! Storyboards complete and around 15,000 words drafted.
